Hi this is a Windows7 logonscreen for vista..U neeed to have logonvista to look like this and u need to replace basebrd.dll file...

1.Download file
2.Install Logonvista
3.Load the logon which is in the rar file
4.Take permission for basebrd.dll 4m c:\windows\branding\basebrd\basebrd.dll
5.Replace with the given dll
logout and see the changes

BenWard09, im having the same problem, after taking ownership of the dll, i try to copy it into windows/randing/basebrd and it wont let me overwrite it, its saying i need permission.
any ideas???

u need to take ownership of the file u already have in the windows directory..set it to full permission and try taking the ownership of the patched file also..and do the process..try this and let me know..

Awesome logon, just cant get the dll. working. I have downloads "take ownership" and open the dll file after 'owning it'. But it still wont let me save it. Any other way of doing it??
Probably being a noob so I apologize in advance if I am!

Yes it is possible....U just need to edit the dll file thats it...The image is present inside the dll...

Hi..

really like this logon screen but I have a tiny little problem with it. After replacing the dll and applying them screen, when I log off the 'U' from Windows 7 Ultimate appears to be a little faded on the left hand side.

Any suggestions?

P.S - Have checked the monitor for any smears and grim and it's perfectly clean :)
